Yesterday may have wowed my socks off but today was a blur!!!! We slept in (7am), ate breakfast and headed to the convention center. Our first class was Make and Takes at 8am. What was I thinking signing up to stamp that early after getting to bed after midnight???? Kristin and I picked up our supplies and left. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't really know what they look like. We are going to get together after convention to make them. Instead, I sat and typed my report for the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website. I really struggled while writing it. I finally sent it and it was time for our next class - all about the fantastic new hostess benefits. Have you see them??? They are great! However, I didn't pay attention because I was blogging about yesterday! After I typed the first few lines I realized that my official report for SU wasn't really my voice. I quickly emailed my gal at SU and told her to hold off for a bit - I was going to resend after I blogged for you. I made a few changes but what you read about yesterday was pretty much my official report!
Our third class featured fabulous projects demonstrated by some of my favorite Stampin' Up! employees including Paula and Holly! I spent a lot of time with the both of them last year at convention.
We finally had a bit of down time around lunch - but not too much. I had an appointment with the photographer for my official Stampin' Success photo! I still have one more report to write for the monthly demonstrator magazine. I still haven't even looked at the display boards - and I hear they are fantastic!
The only event this afternoon was a General Session and I got my exercise!!! I marched across stage three separate times in recognition of my sales, recruiting, and leadership efforts this year. It is amazing that just three conventions ago it was my goal to walk across stage once! My downline member, Kristin, marched across stage for her recruiting efforts this year. It was her goal to march this year and I was SO proud to watch her march twice!!! Kristin even won a prize patrol which contained free Holiday Mini products!!! You should have seen her jump and dance around when she realized that she won! I think I have a photo but I realized that I can't show it to you until September because she's holding the products themselves!!!
We all met up for dinner at Benihana - and my husband came along. It was a fun and relaxing dinner.
For the first time this year, there were optional classes this evening. I took one that was called "Every Little Detail". It's an adorable project that I hope to finish someday!!! Some of the girls took a class where they made a set of wooden houses they can embellish with SU products.
We closed the night with dessert in Temple Square. The view of the skyline and temple were just breathtaking.

Sounds like it was a fantastic trip (as usual!). I'll bet you are exhausted!!! Get some rest tomorrow.
