I'm always in love with black and white cards. I think they are so elegant. I have a couple of swaps from convention that were black and white. Why don't I ever think to make them myself? Oh, that's right - Stampin' Up! has such great colors!!!
I was sitting in my classroom brainstorming card ideas when I remembered I liked that look. I was also trying to do something with the doilies. And here's the result! What do you think of this wedding card? I have a couple of weddings coming up this summer and fall. Hmmm....
Here are the supplies I used on this card:
- Delicate Doilies Stamp Set
- Petite Pairs Stamp Set
- Jet Black Stazon Ink (I like it better than the Classic Ink)
- Real Red Classic Ink
- Basic Black Satin Ribbon
- Basic Rhinestones
- Whisper White Card Stock
- Basic Black Card Stock

Love the new Doilies stamp and LOVE this black and white card! I'm now brainstorming a way to use the doilies in black as a border around a black and white photo perhaps - thanks for the inspiration and I will be sure to share if I can pull it off (oh yeah and when I finally purchase the stamp set from you in August ;-)

LOVE the card! I was thinking you could hold off on stamping the sentiment until you knew the colors of the wedding and then use whatever Stampin' Up color is closest to that color. :)
