As I stamp my way through my new stamp sets, I've become stuck on Pennant Parade! This stamp set is so versatile! Here's a trio of cards that I made yesterday using the stamp set.
Believe it or not, these three cards not only share the same stamp set, they also share the same DSP - Just Add Cake. I received the stamp set, punch, and the DSP absolutely free with the launch of the new Idea Book & Catalog!
Christmas Pennant
I love that you can turn one of the pennants upside down to make a Christmas Tree. The stamp set even has a pot and the "merry" sentiment. The colors I used on this card are Wild Wasabi, Real Red, and Soft Suede. I used the Vintage Trinkets to attach the jewelry tag. I also had fun with layers since this card was so clean and simple. I'm thinking that this card may be one of my Christmas Cards this year!!!
Here are the supplies used (besides the stamp set):
- Real Red Card Stock
- Wild Wasabi Card Stock
- Whisper White Card Stock
- Just Add Cake DSP
- Wild Wasabi Classic Ink
- Soft Suede Classic Ink
- Real Red Classic Ink
- Jewelry Tag Punch
- 1/16" Circle Punch
- Vintage Trinkets
- Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
Ice Cream Cone Pennant
If you combine a pennant with the frosting from the cupcake punch, you get an ice cream cone!!! I still think the ice cream cone on this card needs something. But, do you put cherries on top of ice cream cones? Whatever. I just left it before I screwed it up!
Here are the supplies I used on this card:
- Petite Pairs Stamp Set
- Whisper White Card Stock
- Peach Parfait Card Stock
- So Saffron Card Stock
- Wild Wasabi Card Stock
- Crumb Cake Card Stock
- Just Add Cake DSP
- Crumb Cake Classic Ink
- Wild Wasabi Classic Ink
- Champagne Shimmer Paint (mixed with rubbing alcohol)
- Silver Brad
- Peach Parfait Ribbon
- Petite Pennants Punch
- Cupcake Punch
- Big Shot
- Scallop Squares Due Die
Birthday Pennants
And, finally, here is a more traditional use of the Pennant Parade stamp set. This card is actually cased from a swap that I received at convention from Denise Tepfenhart. I changed a few things, but the layout is hers!
Here are the supplies I used to make this card (besides the stamp set):
- Happiest Birthday Wishes (hostess stamp set)
- Just Add Cake DSP
- Blushing Bride Card Stock
- Wild Wasabi Card Stock
- Whisper White Card Stock
- So Saffron Card Stock
- So Saffron Classic Ink
- Blushing Bride Classic Ink
- Wild Wasabi Classic Ink
- Linen Thread
- Petite Pennants Builder Punch
