Each month my group of demonstrators gather together to eat FANTASTIC food, swap cards, learn a couple of techniques, and visit. This monthly gathering is one of my favorite events each month. I wanted to share with you the card I swapped.
This card was inspired by my sideline, Ilina Crouse. She swapped with me a very similar card at convention. Ilina is CRAZY talented. She was even selected to be one of the convention display board stampers! If you checked her out, you'll see that I was one of the very lucky 10 recipients to get one of her gorgeous creations.
If Ilina's card didn't push me over the edge to love this stamp set, my friend Mary Ellen did! This stamp set, Field Flowers, may now be my favorite stamp set!!! I'm using it (and morphing Ilina's layout and Mary Ellen's color combo) in my Heat Embossing class next month.
Here are the supplies I used on my swap card:
- Field Flowers Stamp Set
- Netting Background Stamp
- Nature Walk Stamp Set
- Always Artichoke Classic Ink & Card Stock
- Crumb Cake Classic Ink & Card Stock
- More Mustard Classic Ink & Card Stock
- Soft Suede Classic Ink
- Linen Thread
- Basic Pearls
- Medium Oval Punch
- Modern Label Punch
- Designer Label Punch (that's what I used to create the mustard layer behind the sentiment)
