Oh my gosh! If you weren't here yesterday, you missed out on some fun! It was a fun day with lots of displays, new friends, and some stamping. Thank you to every single one of you who stopped by. I really enjoyed visiting with you - and in several cases, meeting some of you in person finally!
First, I know you're wondering if you won a door prize. Well, if you didn't get a phone call from me last night, I'm sad to say that you didn't win. If you're curious, the winners were:
First Place - $50 Gift Certificate - Carol D.
Second Place - Hostess Set of Her Choice - Suzie R.
Third Place - Sale-a-Bration Item of Her Choice - Mary D.
Congrats ladies! I had to leave a voice message for Carol....she probably hadn't gotten home from the open house yet. Since it was late, she decided to e-mail me her thanks. I had to share with you the e-mail Carol sent me last night after she got my voice message. It was so cute...and colorful! I just have to share parts of it.
"YIKES!!! I'm NEVER the WINNER!! WOW!! What a GREAT way to start the New Year! :-)
Congrats Carol, Mary, and Suzie! I wish I had taken pictures while everyone was here and stamping, but I was just too busy visiting with everyone. So, instead, I'll share with you the two projects everyone got to make. I was a bit rushed for time, so I turned to the swaps I received at Leadership last week for inspiration. If you've been reading along on my blog recently, you'll notice that I get my inspiration and ideas from a lot of different places. When you're a demonstrator you don't have to reinvent the wheel. There are tons of ideas out there! I'm not embarassed to say that I don't design every card from scratch. The pink Friend card was inspired by a swap card I received from Chari Brooks from Lincoln, California. The Love You Much card was inspired by a swap card I received from Terri Gaines.
If you're jealous of all of the fun, my next Open House will be in May. I don't have a date picked, yet. But, you'll be the first to know as soon as I choose!
I wanted to come, but we're in the process of packing up a ton of the house to prep it for sale. I hope the next time you have an open house I can make it. You always have so many creative things to do at them!
