Well, remember yesterday's card? I just couldn't give it away! So, I made another birthday card. However, I'm a bit worried about this one too. I actually tried to make a video tutorial showing how you can dye the fleurettes but I wasn't happy with any of them. So, I have plenty of dyed flowers for other cards!!! It was getting expensive!
ANYWAY! Back to today's card. I used the "Look Who's Turning" stamp set. I thought it worked perfectly for a little girl's birthday card! I stamped in Pretty in Pink and So Saffron.
To dye the fleurettes, I used my Aqua Painter and my Watercolor Wonder Crayons. It's easy, really. All you do is apply color to the fleurette with the Aqua Painter. I just kept dabbing the fleurette until the color had worked its way into the fibers.
Some of the other supplies I used were So Saffron DSP, Sweat Pea Felt, and Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon.
If you'd like to purchase the fleuerettes, you may click here. They are item number 115604. You get 12 flowers in a package (4 of each of 3 flowers) for $9.95.
