Yes, I'm still working on getting my Holiday Open House projects posted. Are you sick of Halloween yet? I have one more project to show you, but I need to take another photo. But, in the meantime, how about a fun fall basket?
I just love how this turned out! I picked up the basket at my local craft store while I was out shopping for "alterable items". I cut out a bunch of leaves using the Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper. If you haven't actually touched this paper, it's awesome! It's actually textured, heavy-weight card stock! It's significantly thicker than our regular patterned paper. I cut the leaves using the Leaves #2 die in my Big Shot. I actually adhered them to the basket with dimensionals.
I folded some Old Olive striped ribbon and adhered it around the top band. I tacked down the end using a Vintage Brad. I will be pulling this basket out every fall. How am I using it? I've got it filled with our remote controls!!! Somehow I doubt they'll ever stay in the basket, but that's the plan!
