Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a lovely weekend! Mine was fun-packed as usual! Saturday was our third crop supporting the Woodstown High School's Project Graduation! And, because these events are SO popular, we're considering another one just around the corner in May! Stay tuned for the official announcement! While everyone else was cutting paper, adhering embellishments, and cropping photos, I was scrapbooking my trip to Hawaii with MDS! It caught the attention of quite a few croppers! Unfortunately, I didn't get nearly as much done as I had hoped - isn't that usually the way! I will share the album as it's completed.
But, today is about Birthday Cards in MDS! That was our challenge over on the Utah Divas Website ! Since I spent all day Saturday working on my Hawaii scrapbook instead of my MDS challenge, I was rushed for time. So, I turned to the designer templates to make this card (is that cheating?)! I love the designer templates in MDS because they save time. What's a designer template? Well, delivered with MDS are a sampling of card, scrapbook, and other templates that you can use as-is or modify. This particular template was part of the Summer Home designer kit and was originally a Thank You card. I removed some embellishments, added the scallop border punch, changed the color of one of the layers, and changed the sentiment. I hope you like it!
