I know I haven't talked much about My Digital Studio. It's something I simply haven't had time to play with. I LOVE seeing projects that customers and demonstrators have made. I keep telling myself that I'm going to do more once I'm not working. Well, that would be NOW! I'm thinking about starting a series called MDS Mondays where I share a My Digital Studio project every Monday. Let's see how well this works - remember my 12 Weeks of Christmas? Yup, I know. I made it to week 5. Sorry 'bout that.
Anyway, I kept seeing Demonstrators posting about journals they made with MDS. Well, why couldn't you? You would just create all of the pages in your book as lined pages, right? WRONG!!!!! One of the print options is A JOURNAL! OMG!!! I see SO MUCH GIFT POTENTIAL in these things! I immediately sat down and created one to use at Leadership last month. I checked the mail DAILY anxiously awaiting MY custom journal! I was curious to see what it would look like. The quality is AMAZING! (Why am I not surprised?) The journal is GOREOUS! Quite a few demonstrators stopped to take a picture of it when they saw it at Leadership. I felt a bit better when other demonstrators didn't realize MDS could be used to make journals. So, I'm SCREAMING IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS! I was even telling my father about my journal and he perked up - he said that maybe he could journal all of his woodworking projects! Ahem...gifts for men!
I see SO MANY potential options for these things. Maybe everyone at a Women's Retreat needs one with their name on it! Maybe all of my friends need one for their birthday. If I had kids, I would TOTALLY make these for their teachers! And, unlike scrapbooks, you only design the front cover, back cover, and spine. Everything else is a lined page! They even have a pretty ribbon bookmark!
To make my journal, I downloaded the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper so that mine would be showing off my (current) favorite DSP! But, My Digital Studio comes with plenty of DSP already loaded!
I think EVERYONE needs My Digital Studio! (Can you tell I'm now a huge fan - all because I can create a journal?) Click here to learn more.
Congrats on your journal!
It's beautiful, simple, and elegant.
I just started playing with MDS too, and oh the possibilities...!
It's so much fun!
