Okay, so my birthday was a month ago and I received a TON of hand-stamped cards from demonstrators, friends, and customers. It's taken me WAY too long to get these posted. This is just the first batch! I'll have more to share over the coming days and then we'll move onto sympathy cards! I had a couple of happy mail weeks between my birthday and the passing of my grandmother.
This first card was made by one of my stamp club members, Nancy. It's SO gorgeous. Nancy loves to watercolor. But, what you cannot see in the picture is that she cut out the little bees and butterflies! WOW! That takes patience!
Next up is a card from one of my demonstrators, Terri. She's also a crazy cutter as she also cut out these butterflies! I love the layers on this card! Seriously - this has my name written all over it! I count 7 layers including the butterflies!
The third card was made by a demonstrator and friend, Mary Ellen. Her card accompanied a gift which I'll have to share here someday. The card is gorgeous. I showed it to my husband and he told me "you've got to learn how to do that". Well, it's not all that complicated - just a bit time-consuming! You can't even begin to see the details on this card in this photo. There's embossing, cutting, stamping, ribbon, mica flakes, sponging, buttons, and more. I've already cased it a couple of times!
My last card for the day is also a jaw-dropper! This was made by one of my customers, Rita. She used the reflection technique to make this card. She also did a lot of coloring. It's hard to believe you're not looking at a photograph!
Thank you everyone! Stay tuned for more of my birthday cards!
