Each month, Stampin' Up! demonstrators receive an amazing magazine packed full of creative and business inspiration. I spotted a project in next month's magazine that I just HAD to recreate - especially since it's perfect for the Halloween project portion of my Holiday Catalog tour (and uses my favorite little monsters). It'll definitely be on display in my living room until Halloween. I'm in love with the finished product!
I made eight more complex ornaments and five "balls". The "balls" are the easy part! I simply punched 4 circles for each, folded them in half, glued them together, punched a hole through the top, and laced some linen thread through to make a hook.
The base of the "complex" ornaments are made using strips of Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP that was either 1" or 1-1/4" x 12". I scored each strip every 1/4" using my Simply Scored Tool to make the lollies. I then used an assortment of punched shapes using card stock and Silver Glimmer Paper. I embellished using ribbon, buttons, linen thread, googly eyes, and stamped images.
