I was sitting around playing with some of the Holiday Catalog items I haven't really used yet and came up with this card. I'm not entirely sold, but I like it enough to share it!
I layered the flocked window sheet from the Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper over some silver glimmer paper to make the base of this card. It really reminds me of some vintage wrapping paper! But after I'd created that beautiful background, I wasn't entirely sure what to do with the card. Has that ever happened to you? I decided to pull out the Evergreen Stamp Set and stamp it in Lucky Limeade and the sentiment in Jet Black Stazon. It works, but I'm not sold. I'll keep working on it and share it again when I've nailed it! I also layered some of the Whisper White Organza Ribbon and some Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon.
Don't forget - when you purchase the Candlelight Christmas Specialty DSP along with the Ornament Keepsakes bundle this month, Stampin' Up! will throw in the Festive Paper Piercing Template absolutely FREE!!!
Kristin,

How about a layer behind the sentiment and do some paper piercing around it?
