Well, the Christmas holiday came and went and I didn't get a chance to post the last three handmade/MDS cards I received. I didn't want anyone to feel left out!!!
This first card was created by one of my college friends, Rebecca. Rebecca and I got to know each other through a traveling music ministry team. We lost contact, but through the beauty of Facebook, reconnected a few years ago. I'm sure most of you can relate! Also through the beauty of Facebook, I learned that she's a former Stampin' Up! demonstrator!!! How fun is that!?!? She made this beautiful card. I don't think the photo does it justice. She stamped the solid image of the tree under the word-image in the new Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Ink. Don't worry if you missed out on the stamp set or the ink, they're BOTH still available from the Holiday Catalog.
This next card was created by a demonstrator "sister" of mine, Chris. I love how she created a window in the front of her card using the Ornament Punch. She used another ornament on the inside of the card. And, her scraps didn't go to waste! She punched the large Scallop Circle from the Artichoke layer and used it inside of her card. AND, I'm pretty sure she used some of the ornament scrap to layer the pieces on the inside of her card as well.
The final card I'll share of the season (unless one of you is REALLY late getting your cards out this year) is from my stampin' momma, Claire! She's my upline. She's the demonstrator I joined through over six years ago. You may remember that I shared a handstamped card that I received from her a couple of posts ago - I wasn't sure if it was her Christmas card or not. It wasn't. She used My Digital Studio to create this postcard!
