I took a break from stamping Christmas cards on Sunday to make this card. I was inspired by the layouts on the Mojo Monday site and this layout caught my eye. I had a bunch of Sweater Weather DSP sitting out on my table so I decided to make that layout using some of the DSP. I thought the Doilies would be perfect for the circle in the layout. However, the doily just looked too white. I decided to spritz it to make it darker. Now, I'm not exactly the most organized person. None of my spritzer bottles are labeled. So, I didn't really know what would come out when I sprayed. The contents looked like they might be tannish - so I was thinking Soft Suede. It was a complete surprise when champagne glimmer paint sprayed out mixed with something tannish. I liked it! Granted, champagne glimmer paint is retired. But, I'll bet many of you have a tub of it sitting around. To top it off, I added some burlap ribbon, linen thread, and a wooden button. And, if you're going to have champagne shimmer paint, champagne glimmer paper works well, too!
