Last night was my final Die Cut Divas class of 2013. Wow. I can't believe I'm wrapping up my 2013 classes. I just have a couple of Stamp-a-Stacks later this month and then I'm on "vacation" for the month of December. But, don't worry - I'll still be stamping and blogging and here for your questions!
My Die Cut Divas got to make these three projects this month.....
I posted a sneak peek of this first card on my Facebook page over the weekend and it was a hit! So many of you loved this card. And, so did I when I saw the inspiration. I cased a card designed by my friend, Maggie Patterson. I'd spotted it on Pinterest and knew it would make a great project for Die Cut Divas. I changed the sentiment and I chose to use Red Glimmer Paper instead of plain Real Red Card Stock.
You probably recognize this next card, it was inpsired by a swap I received at my downline meeting created by Lynn. I modified it slightly by adding a sentiment. I love this alternate use of the snowflakes to make a wreath!
Finally, they made a cute treat bag. The bag is one of the Chevron Tag a Bag Gift Bags. They come flat, but I showed them how to turn it into a gusseted bag. We had a lot of fun creating the tags. The circle layer in the back is made with DSP-covered coaster board. I thought it made a much sturdier base for the tag. The sentiment is from the Christmas Tagables Photopolymer Stamp Set and cut out using the Chalk Talk Framelits.
