Are you ready to see my fourth Christmas Card design? Well, I guess you already have! It's pictured over there on the right. If you read yesterday's post, you may remember I mentioned that I'd borrowed the strip of red glimmer paper and the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details from another card. Today's card is that card.
This card was inspired by a couple of different cards. The layout was inspired by this card by Michele Reynolds. But, I just did not like the "Got Mistletoe" sentiment for one of my Annual Christmas cards. It's certainly cute and fun. But, it wasn't working for me. I needed to find a different sentiment. I also couldn't imagine lining up the two framelits over and over to mass produce this card - so I tucked my Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding behind the tag instead of having the hole at the top.
The second card that inspired this card was this card created by Sandi MacIver. I loved her idea of using these stamps inside of the same framelit. It was a perfect combo!
Like Sandi, I mounted my focal point on Crumb Cake. However, you may have noticed that she embossed her base. I don't like the embossed look when I'm using Washi Tape. So, I stamped snowflakes from the Serene Snowflakes stamp set.
I made 36 of this design. This was also one of my three favorites this year. I hope those of you who received this card also love it.
I was one if those lucky ones and I do love it! Thsnk you so much!
