Are you tired of my Christmas cards yet? Today's is the sixth of the seven designs. This one probably looks familiar to you if you attended my Holiday Card Stamp-a-Stacks! I liked this one a lot. It was inspired by this card by Beth McAlexander. Beth used different colors and different ribbon. For some reason I just thought this card needed to be Midnight Muse. I loved the deep blue color. I only made 32 of these - I started to feel guilty that the knot in the ribbon would cause the Post Office headaches. I believe most of these cards went to family members because I really prefer to send cards with a religious message. However, I know a few of you also received this design.
It's funny - when this card was part of my Stamp-a-Stack, I didn't include the rhinestone. I don't know why. I don't remember if I was creating the card from memory or if I just wasn't paying attention. However, Suzie who was in one of the stamp-a-stacks decided the star needed a rhinestone. I liked the idea so I also added rhinestones to my Christmas cards. And, now that I look back to give credit, I realize the original had a rhinestone as well!
I hope you'll tune in tomorrow for my seventh and final card. AND...it's the only original design of the bunch!
