It was a week for parties last week! I hosted my Stamp Sorority team party (and I still have pictures to share). And, Claire hosted her Philly Inkers team Holiday Shoebox Swap and Brunch. Most of Claire's downline are from the Philadelphia area. I don't get to see many of them that often. So, I was excited when I realized I could attend. Besides chowing down on yummy breakfast baked goods and soup and baked ziti and quiche and more, we also made lots of holiday cards. I joked that I was going to make a Valentine's Day card - I'm just about OVER making Christmas cards this year. Valentine's Day is a holiday, right??? But, I knew that's not what Claire meant. The card I brought for everyone to make was this one.
Are you familiar with Shoebox Swaps? Everyone in attendance designs a card that can be made in about 10 minutes and brings supplies for everyone else to bring their cards! It's a great way to get a variety of cards in a variet of styles. And, Lovely as a Tree made a STRONG appearance!
