If you read my blog post from yesterday, you may remember me saying that Suzie had some very specific ideas for her workshop. Today's card is my answer to her second request: An Easter card featuring the Blessed Easter Stamp Set watercolored in Purples. How'd I do?
The Blessed Easter image is stamped in Jet Black Stazon ink on Watercolor Paper. I watercolored the flowers in Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi, and outlined them in a very faint Soft Sky using Blender Pens. I'm thrilled with how the card turned out.
I showed the gals how to use an alternate masking technique using Scotch Tape to hide the sentiment - another technique we learned at the Leadership Conference from Shelli's daughter, Sara. You simply apply Scotch Tape to the portion of the stamp you don't want to be inked, then you ink up your stamp. The hardest part is remembering to remove the tape before stamping the image!
I then added the happy easter sentiment from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.
