A couple of weeks ago hundreds of demonstrators boarded a ginormous cruise ship for the annual Grand Vacation incentive trip. I didn't go on the trip. I went on the San Diego incentive trip last fall instead. However, I believe 10 of my Stamper's Dozen Blog Hoppin' buddies were on the trip! They all met up on the cruise for a photo and to swap. A couple of them mailed me a card that arrived while they were away. I was so touched that they took the time to drop a card in the mail.
The first card that arrived was this one created by Stella MacKay. I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived for several reasons. A - it was a handstamped card. B - it was completely unexpected. And, C - it contains a SNEAK PEEK that I don't own! Oh, and it's gorgeous!!!! I'm guessing she received this stamp on the Founder's Circle trip last fall. I've seen several others use it as well recently.
And then the next day Judy's card arrived! (It was a REALLY good mail week.) Judy's card appears pretty simple, right? It's hard to see in the photo, but do you notice the shadows around the butterfly? Judy actually stamped 2 identical black butterflies and cut out a butterfly to layer on top. However, she didn't cut the full shape. She cut only 2/3 of the wings. I love the movement it creates.
Just a friendly reminder that my Customer Appreciation Nights are this week. You don't want to miss these events! Click here for all of the details. I hope to see you there!
