Happy National Donut Day!

Did you know that today is National Donut Day?  I wouldn't have known if it hadn't been for Facebook.  But, as soon as I heard about it, I imagined the new Hamburger Box Bigz XL Die filled with a big ol' donut.  Maybe I should have measured the box first!  It's a bit smaller than I had imagined - which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you're the gift-giver!  I envisoned the hamburger box with a single donut and the fry box filled with munchkins.  But, as you can see by the photos posted, I had to mix it up a bit based upon my donut size.  I was pretty bummed the big one didn't work.  I'd picked out a pretty donut to use and very carefully transported it home.  On the contrary, it tasted pretty good!

I just think this new Hamburger Box Bigz XL Die is PERFECT for giving little gifts.  At my "day job" we've been celebrating Employee Appreciation Week all week long.  We've had movies playing in our theater (yes, I work for a bank that has its own theater), Mister Softee came to visit, we had free lunch, a free breakfast, and they had Wii games set up in one of the conference rooms earlier this week.  Between Employee Appreciation Week and National Donut Day, I figured this would make the PERFECT gift to give today!  Granted, when I make things for folks at the office, I never know where to stop.  So...don't tell them that I was thinking of them.  I didn't make them any.
