I recently participated in a swap with some other demonstrators featuring products from the new catalog. I hope to receive the swaps back soon so I can share them with you. But, I didn't want to wait to share one of the cards that I designed for the swap.
This card was partially inspired by a project that Shelli shared on her blog - specifically the fourth picture. I loved the black, white, and red color scheme. And, I loved the stamped "Dictionary" layer behind the typewriter.
I believe she paper pierced the border of her top layer. I chose to doodle mine. I've gotten into this doodling thing! It's fun! I know a lot of you find watercoloring relaxing. Doodling relaxes me. There's no wrong way to doodle! And, because it's doodling, who cares if it doesn't all match!
Here are the supplies I used to create this card:
- Tap Tap Tap Stamp Set
- Dictionary Stamp Set
- Black Memento Ink
- Banners Framelits & Big Shot
- Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker
- 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon
- Silver Mini Metallic Clothespin
- Whisper White Cardstock
- Basic Black Cardstock
