Between my traveling, my retired products sale, convention, and well....life, I realized I never posted last month's Stamp Sorority Swaps! They were ALL incredibly stunning - as usual. I'm so blessed to have such a talented group. Maybe the free products I give away to the winning swap inspire them to create beautiful cards....ya think? I've already told them that the prize for this month will be a sneak peek product from the Holiday Catalog. I'm honestly scared to see their creations! Why scared? Because I'm going to have to choose only one!
First up is last month's winning card. It was created by Nancy. I love how she really thought outside of the box on this one! She used the flower from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack (now retired) to make a bouquet. You can totally recreate this look using the flower from the new punch pack.
Next up is a card created by Lynn. Everyone asks how she did it. And, I honestly don't know. I'm thinking there was some masking and brayering or sponging going on in the background. I love her baker's twine loops - that's such a trendy accent right now.
Next up is Jill's card. She used Work of Art to creat this flag. I'm gonna have to remember this one for next 4th of July! Her card was timed perfectly right before the 4th of July holiday. I'm the slacker who didn't get it posted! I also love that she chose the "celebrate" sentiment out of Endless Birthday Wishes. A perfect combo!
Next is Jennifer's card. I love her use of punches and framelits. But she had to "fussy cut" (a term I learned at convention this year) the bird. I love the colors she chose. This one is TOTALLY my style!
Next is a card that is unsigned. I'm guessing it was created by Jane. I know she swapped. And by process of elimination, this one would be hers. This would make a great masculine card. Very CAS (clean and simple) which is so trendy right now.
This next snazzy card was created by Patty Jo. You certainly can't tell from the photo, but the little lobster spins around the octopus! I keep thinking the lobster is telling the octopus, "Ha ha, you can't catch me"!
This next card was created by Hallie. It's absolutely gorgeous. I love the colors and the layout she chose. Her card is just stunning.
Last but certainly not least is Darlene's card. Again, this beauty raised all sorts of questions about how she made it. The short answer is - I don't know! What I CAN tell you is that she embossed vellum. And I'm going to guess she then colored the backside with markers. Maybe. It's beautiful and so many people have commented on it.
