Happy Blog Hop Day! Thanks for hopping along with the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop group today. If you've been hopping along, you probably already know that today's theme is "Hot Hot Hot". Several of us struggled with the theme. I mean, really, how do you stamp that?!? I've gotten a sneak peek of most of the projects - and I'm loving everyone's intepretations! I decided to use "hot" colors - the Brights collection. I've also seen ice cream, cold drinks, sunshine, and Lee even incorporated the phrase directly into her cards.
I'm gonna admit, today's card isn't my favorite card ever created. But I wanted to create something that incorporated Designer Series Paper AND the Brights Collection. And Sweet Taffy DSP fit the bill. Why did I want to incorporate Designer Series Paper? Because all eight $10.95 collections in the catalog are on sale this month - Buy 3 Get 1 Free!

I used the brand new Cupcake Party Stamp Set for all of the stamped images and greetings. I love that this is a brand new set that coordinates perfectly with the Cupcake Punch that many of you probably already own!
If you're wondering, the colors I used were Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Whisper White.
This card is doing TRIPLE duty this week! It's today's blog hop card, I made 20 of these for swaps at this year's convention (which starts Thursday), and my stamp club is making this card later tonight (don't tell them)!
