Welcome to my blog! You've landed in the middle of the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop featuring Thankful/Grateful projects. I've seen most of them and they're all absolutely stunning! I hope you'll continue through the hop to view them all, too!
I made this card a couple of months ago and knew it would be perfect for this month's hop theme. It was inspired by a project I saw at the annual Stampin' Up! convention back in July. I believe it was Sara who shared a similar project on stage at convention last month. I just knew I had to create it. But I turned mine into a card.
I used many of the images from the new Gratitude for Days stamp set (keep reading to see how you can be entered to win the stamp set). I stamped the images in Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Soft Suede. I colored my leaves using my good ol' Blender Pens. Remember those? I rarely use them anymore. And, yes, a few of the leaves are cut out of scrap and adhered to the card to add a bit of dimension (not sure if you can see that in the photo or not). I embellished using some of the fabulous new Autumn Wooden Elements. In addition to the little wooden leaves, I also added a few silver sequins from the Frosted Sequins pack. What do you think? I'm thinking I need to make a version that I can stick in a frame and enjoy year after year.
