I had to giggle when one of my customers recently ordered the Timeless Textures Stamp Set and exclaimed as she was reading off her order to me, "I don't know what I'm going to do with it"! Can you relate? I know I could. I was instantly drawn to this stamp set but really didn't know what I could do with it.
Well, Timeless Texture is one of those stamp sets that's perfect for Collage Stamping. Here are some things to think about when you're creating a successful collage:
- Variety is key. Include small and large images together. The Timeless Textures stamp set has done the guesswork for you - it already includes both of those!
- Experiment. Playing with these stamp set is lots of fun! There is no wrong way of doing it. Perfection certainly doesn't matter. And, there is really no such thing as stamping straight - straight is boring when it comes to a collage!
- Don't overdo it. Three or four stamps is probably a good rule of thumb. More than that is simply too busy.
