I'm guessing you're a blog hopper, right? I'm guessing mine isn't the only blog you follow. I'm guessing you've heard about the awesome Stampin' Up! global events that happened over the last weekend, right? Well, if you haven't, Stampin' Up! held 12 worldwide events where thousands of demonstrators attended for some business training, swapping, inspiration....oh, and to see the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Catalog! Can you believe it? Already? It's not even Thanksgiving! I've even placed my first order and earned several free Sale-a-Bration items already - one of my favorite perks of being a demonstrator. Customers can't order from these catalogs until January 5th!
At the exact moment this blog post posts, demonstrators are officially allowed to share some of the things we saw at the event! So...here we go!

Since all but one of my team members live on the east coast, I flew in to Baltimore to attend with the gals who were able to attend. I have one other team member who lives in Texas and she attended the Dallas event. Here we all are from left to right on the front row: Patty Jo, Jill, and Deanna. On the back row are Jen, Lynn, me, and Ellen.
I'm so glad I finally remembered to take pictures of PEOPLE! My team was not very happy with this next picture. I made them leave their catalogs wrapped in plastic so they could pose for the photo before they got to look. I'm sure Lois wasn't happy, either, I made her stop so she could take our photo!

One of the highlights of the event HAD to be this next picture - discovering all of the amazing goodies inside with hundreds of demonstrators at the same time. I love the look on the woman's face in the background on the left.

Everyone in attendance went home with two free stamp sets from the new catalog as well as a pack of specialty DSP. But, there were also Prize Patrols! We received one of 8 different color pins. If they called our color, we won. I think I counted that only 6 or 7 of the colors were called. But, I'm thrilled that every single person in our group won Prize Patrol - which meant we all went home with three brand new stamp sets! And Patty Jo even won TWO prizes from the You Crew for knowing some Stampin' Up! trivia! Yes, if you look closely, those are empty stamp set boxes. We weren't allowed to post photos until now of the products. But no one said anything about empty stamp set boxes!

The event was a lot of fun. I'm sad that I missed Friday night's event that was held just for "leaders". My day job got in the way and I ended up having to fly out later than I'd planned. I've seen tons of photos. It looks like the event was really awesome with a yummy meal and a much smaller, more intimate group of women. I am grateful that I was able to get the gift the next day. It's a gorgeous makeup travel pouch that was filled with buttons and clothes pins and epoxy stickers and dazzling details. Fun!
Here's a photo of all of the loot we received: Makeup pouch filled with goodies (and fabric cover), Canvas Tote Bag, Gold Water Bottle, Occasions Catalog, Sale-a-Bration Catalog, Stampin' Success (an amazing demonstrator-only magazine), two journals (one from Centre Stage and one from On Stage), Stampin' Up! pens, three stamp sets, specialty DSP, and 4 Make & Takes featuring products from four of the new product suites.
